SNOWPLOWS

SnowplowSnowplow

Snow plow BML#21 was acquired in December, 1926, from the Canadian Pacific Railway. Coupled to it is BML#43, a flat car acquired from the Bangor & Aroostook in 1928, which was converted to a flanger in 1935.

Snowplow

Next to the turntable at the B&ML’s Water Street yard in Belfast sits snow plow B&ML#22 and flanger B&ML#23 as they patiently await the end of summer and the inevitable return of another snowy Maine winter. Next to them off trucks is B&ML#14, a baggage car acquired from the Boston & Maine in 1927, which was retired and converted to a carpenter's shop in 1949.
