I am also doing some research on meadow lake, the only good thing that I have found is a book by Paul Fatout, called Meadow Lake Mining District. Do you have any material to pass on?

The following may be related to Meadow Lake:
Houseworth 1274: Meadow Lake, Summit City, 6,800 feet elevation. Central Pacific Railroad.
Houseworth 1275: Kidd's Dam, Meadow Lake, Summit City—Central Pacific Railroad.
Houseworth 1276: Old Man Mountain near Meadow Lake. Altitude 7,800 feet—Central Pacific Railroad.
Houseworth 1277: French Lake, Nevada County, near Meadow Lake, Central Pacific Railroad.
A. A. Hart 174: Railroad, below Cisco and Crystal Lake. [Large trestle taken from across Yuba on Meadow Lake road.]
A. A. Hart 179. Old Man Mountain, Altitude 7500
Unknown view which Daniel Hart, University of Nevada, Reno (see his note) speculates is the town of Meadow Lake [also possibly Truckee according to Mead Kibbey; Dana Scanlon does not believe that it is Meadow Lake]

[Above] is a ... scan of the Houseworth CPRR #1288. You do not appear to have this one, so I am forwarding a scan of the one I recently acquired.

Dana Scanlon has devoted a great deal of energy and time, as well as treasure, gathering photos of Meadow Lake. You would be well served to chat with him. g j graves
