B&MLRR engine #19 at Brooks, Maine, 1947
Engineer Don Gould at the controls of B&ML#19, a 1901 Manchester 4-6-0 acquired
from the Bangor & Aroostook in 1940.  Scrapped in 1950, it was the last steam
locomotive to run on the B&ML until 1995.  The headlight and front marker
lights from this engine are now in the author’s collection.
